前言
雖說這首歌是年初的 但歌要紅你什麼時候都不知道
最近樂壇又在流行這一首 節奏跟涵義都比較灰沈的歌曲
其中大膽提到同性戀議題 與發生在俄羅斯反同事件

如果你相信人生而平等 如果你相信真愛 就愛用愛去包容
好笑的事是 現在有太多太多的人 藉著“神的名義”來發表言論
我相信有虔誠的信徒 但是我鄙視那些用神職威嚴來給人下定義的人
在自然界中有超過五百種族群內皆有同性戀 卻只有一個族群會反對/歧視同性戀
不論如何 這首的含意 引人省思

這首的難處 除了內容複雜 需要帶些理解去翻
更難的事 立場一直在邊 而且還是不下一段換立場 可能是在一段裡面換好幾次立場
一下子對你說話 一下子對著他們說話
一下在說著愛人 一下再說著信徒 最複雜是自己有事就是信徒(但立場不同)
一下信神 一下信自己的愛人

She tells me "worship in the bedroom” 這句是雙關語 Worship意思是禮拜 而在”bedroom” 可以暗指性愛
也就是說 他的愛人想要與在房間裡做愛做的事 同時要求主角 把他放在第一位”before God"

信徒們(同性戀信徒)是誠心的 的教堂(那些高高在上的人) 不斷無視 甚至歧視 他們的訴求

對那些得不到回應的同性戀信徒們 內心的渴望 激動
二來是 那些恐同者們 同性戀著在他們眼中 是多好欺負/霸凌 而就某種程度上 他們認為自己的所做很“正當”
